Safe Start is a three hour training program presented as a part of your camp’s staff training week. It is a turn-key training program which means all training materials, handbooks, workbooks and resources are provide to your trainer and staff. Your trainer must simply familiarize themselves with the training materials before presenting. A Director or senior camp staff person with any teaching or training experience can easily present Safe Start.

Trainers Handbook
The trainer's handbook will guide your trainer through the Safe Start Program content. All material in the trainers handbook coincides with content in the reference handbook, participant workbook and Power point presentation.

Participant Workbook
Each one of your camp staff will receive a workbook. The Safe Start Workbooks contain summarized content, note writing areas, activities and quizzes. Workbooks are durable, allow for quick reference by your camp staff throughout the summer.

Safe Start come with a CD containing a
professionally developed Powerpoint presentation that you can use to present the program material.

Certification Cards
Each of your staff that successfully completes the Safe Start Program will receive a certification card. "Successful completion" is defined as attendance at all Safe Start training sessions, participation in group activities and completion of a written test.
