Assessment Tool: On-Site
|
The program begins with a 6-8 hours site visit by a CampStandard Regional Representative. Together with the Regional Rep. you will tour your complete facility, including all buildings, maintenance and program locations. You will then meet to complete the Camp Assessment Tool, which will allow CampStandard to gain valuable information about your camp. The CampStandard Representative, although available to answer questions, will not make health and safety recommendations while on-site. The Regional Representative’s role is to compile data that will intern assist in the reporting process. |
|
The program concludes will a detailed, attractively laid out report that is customized for your camp. The content of the report is based on your camp tour and responses in the Camp Assessment Tool, as well as extensive discussion and research by our team of consultants. Reports range in length from 100-150 pages. You will receive your report 2-3 weeks after your site visit. |
Your report will contain valuable data that, once implemented, will positively affect the safety and well-being of your campers and staff for years to come. The report is an important document you want to keep on file to prove you have given serious consideration to your camp’s health and safety program.
The SafeCamp On-Site Assessment Program is an invaluable exercise in health, safety and risk management planning. If your participation in this program protects the health and well-being of even a single child, you will have no regrets.
